As a non-profit organisation, Captain Amazon relies heavily on donations to carry out our work. You also help us distribute original research that can have a powerful impact on responses to climate change, deforestation, waste, air and water pollution, biodiversity loss and other environmental issues that are covered by Captain Amazon.

The donations you make are used to sustain Captain Amazon. We use the resources you give us to obtain literary material such as academic books and journals, important technological tools that help us expand the reach and impact of our content and to conduct sustainable business trips in search of important environmental, climate and biodiversity knowledge.

We guarantee that none of your donations will go to environmentally-destructive travel such as airplane trips, nor will we use it to purchase any products that have not been certified by a legitimate certification body such as FSC or Fairtrade. We will only use your generous donations to help our planet.

When you click the donate button, you can use debit or credit card, or PayPal. If none of these methods work for you or there is a problem with the check-out process, contact us at captainamazon@yahoo.com and we will see what we can do for you. If you live in Sweden, we also accept Swich to +46762282115. We prefer donations of at least 5 pounds, but you can choose the amount you want to donate regardless of which payment method you use. No matter how big or small your donation is, it will make a difference!
