Two Chinese Cities Join WWF's Plastic-Free Initiative

Sanya and Yangzhou, two Chinese cities, have joined the Pacific Smart Cities Initiative, a project launched by WWF to eliminate plastic pollution in South East Asia by 2030. 21 cities have now joined the initiative, including cities in the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. After the two Chinese cities secured their partnership with WWF, the NGO also announced that 1.75 million people worldwide have now signed their petition to end plastic pollution.
